TeleLift is our 24-hour schedule ahead, curb-to-curb service. Riders must call during office hours to schedule their ride in 24 hours in advance to guarantee their ride.  Same-day ride requests are not guaranteed and will be provided as available along with a $5 same-day fee in addition to the fare.

How do I schedule a ride?

Book your ride by calling 402.379.4595 during office hours, which are Monday–Friday between 6:00 am to 5:00 pm or Saturday-Sunday between 8:30 am-4:30 pm.

What are the days and hours of operation of TeleLift?

TeleLift operates Monday-Saturday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm and Sunday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

Who is eligible to use the services?

Everyone! All residents and visitors are welcome to ride.

What is the minimum age for a TeleLift ride ?

We will transport unaccompanied children age 4 and up to and from school or other agency, such as the YMCA. The pick up and drop off destinations must be scheduled by a parent or guardian. A supervising adult must be present for arrival and departure.

Are TeleLift vehicles wheelchair accessible?

Yes, all vehicles are wheelchair accessible, with lifts and secure wheelchair tie-downs for a safe and secure ride.

How do I buy a ride pass?

Call or stop by North Fork Area Transit during office hours – Monday-Friday 6:00 am-5:30 pm or Saturday-Sunday 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Our office is located in the southwest corner of the Norfolk Senior Center at 307 W. Prospect Ave.

Fares & Passes

Same-Day Service Fee
If requesting a same-day ride (less than 24 hours) there is a $5 same-day fee that will be added to your fare. Same-day rides are only available if a vehicle and driver are available.

Shared Ride
Rider’s guest is free with same origin/destination/time as passenger.

Disability Attendants Ride Free
Attendant assisting a person with a disability.

Airport Shuttle Service

We offer car service to airports in Omaha, Lincoln and Sioux City. Our vehicles can fit up to five people with luggage.

Rides require a minimum of 24 hour notice. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available upon request.

Cost is $150 each way.
This is a flat fee for the service whether you are an individual rider or have a group up to five.
